Tonight I'm grateful for traditions. My sister started a tradition where all the girls get together in our family and make Christmas treats! It was a lot of fun, and we ate plenty!! As the girls were diligently watching our candy thermometers, our mom was watching for her toffee to "turn a color of amber and see a puff of smoke!" We had plenty of laughs over that one!! (sorry mom) I'm so grateful for my sisters, mom and sister-in-law (who unfortunately couldn't make it today) who make our family fun!! I think that is what a lot of Christmas is about, those traditions you do year after year that tell you it's Christmas.
