Tonight I'm grateful once again for Landon's swim team. He did his first "real" meet yesterday, he had a great time, and I was so impressed. This is the perfect sport for someone who's not really into "team sports." They don't focus on who comes in first or last, in fact, that is never mentioned. The goal is to beat your last time, or your "personal best" on the race you are doing. But I do have to brag because I'm a proud mom and say that he was first in 4 of the 5 events he swam in. It made me tired just watching those kids. Swimming laps is the hardest exercise I have EVER done!! No wonder he was tired last night!! Way to go GATORS!!
