This is the reason I'm completely behind on my Christmasing. It's the reason there are no lights hung up outside and the reason my tree was not decorated until last night. Maybe it's just the excuse I'm using....but seriously, this nativity has been in my possession for 9 years. Sitting in a box, unpainted....waiting. And waiting....(talk about unfinished projects.) But I swore this year I would do it, and I did it. I painted it. For those of you who know me well, get your jaw off of the floor!!! I don't absolutely love it, it's not a professional job, and it's a bit more pastel than I wanted, but it's done, and it's growing on me. I haven't sprayed any finishing spray on it, because I might still do some renovating, but I'm proud of myself!! Now on with Christmas!!
