Spring Break

We had the funnest spring break this year. Kaitlyn said it was the "best one ever," and I have to agree. We went to California and spent a few days with Jay's sister Julie, and then did a few days at Disneyland. We had such a great time...everything went well and everyone felt well and it just couldn't have been better. Jay has five sisters and sometimes when I mention their names my kids still say "which one is that?" So it was great for them to spend time with Julie and get to know her better. She is tons of fun and I love to hang out with her. I do one of my favorite things when I'm with her. Laugh. We also hooked up with some other family members while we were there and it was just all a really good time.


Of course we all loved her dog, Coco, and felt right at home with her since we left our dog home.

I must admit before this trip I had only been to Disneyland a couple times, and I could pretty much take it or leave it. I changed my mind. I fell in love with the place. Even with the 80,000 other people that were there. When I say we spent a few days there, I don't mean 8 hour days, I mean 13 hour days. My kids loved it!! Our feet hurt so bad by the end of the day that Kaitlyn was giving foot massages during the parade. On the third day she said "it's a good thing we're not here for all day cause I don't know if my feet could do it." Disneyland really is about capturing the magic, and if you don't find it while you're there....well....you're missing out.

Unfortunately we did bring the stomach flu home with us. The good news is we brought it HOME with us, the bad news is plenty of us spent time barfing...barfing...barfing. Poor Jax...who else could get away with this shot??
