Every year Smithfield Health Days brings a couple events that my kids have fun doing. They have the annual parade on Saturday morning, along with a fun run, and lots of activities going on during the day. Part of these festivities is a childrens youth theatre, where they put on a play and any children in the community can participate in it. For the 2 1/2 weeks they are doing practices, you swear as a mom that you aren't going to do it the next year, but the kids always have so much fun you just end up doing it next year!!! This year with 2 kids in it we were really busy running to practices, but they had fun. The play was the "Goose Girl". Jaxon was a wolf and Kaitlyn was a Lady in Waiting. Here are a couple pictures of the events.

I thought I would catch them both before they changed out of their costumes and get their picture, but I was too late! Of course I was!! So this is them after the play!

Jaxon doing his part on stage. He had soooo much fun!

It was a fun/crazy couple of weeks! Kayla already wants to do it again next year! I think by then I'll be recovered enough to do it again! I'll try not to whine so much next year ;)
I am one of those moms who always says I won't do it next year, then we do. But this year...we really didn't do it! Just had too much on my plate. But, when I see how cute they look, I kinda wish we had done it.
