Time for updates!

Well time sure does fly quickly by!! It's June already....not that you would know that by looking out the window. Soccer is over:)...we love soccer! Jaxon LOVES soccer!! After the first couple games I told Jay he should be a track star, because he loves to run, and is always the first one down the field, running right along with the ball. Oh well, it didn't bother me, I just thought it was fun to watch. It didn't really matter if he connected with the ball. However, after a couple games, I did try to do a little coaching and let him know the goal is to kick the ball the other way. He did know this but maybe just had more fun running. Anyway, at the the end of the season I started seeing him make some big steps toward kicking the ball. On the last game, I don't know if it kicked in that this was it, but he actually made a goal!! Then he made two more!! His coach said "what did you do to him this morning?"" I said, I think he's just catching on!! I think after feeling that rush of making his first goal he decided it was pretty fun (and maybe the hug from one of the girl teammates added a little extra), and he was the star of the show!! It was really fun. Like I said, I'm always sad when soccer's over because I think it's so much fun to watch. Great season Darters!!
